As the Managing Director, the firm began marketing, selling, and servicing a wide variety of financial products including individual life insurance and group health to a culturally diverse client base. Coordinated the marketing and sales of annuities, pensions, private placements and limited partnerships.
Having consulted on several large projects, to include It's Cool To Be Smart – Saving Our Daughters, the Atlanta premier of the movie PANTHER, and the fostering of international trade relations with Haiti and other Caribbean nations, Mr. Smith gained the integrity and respect from many of the firms flourishing in the Atlanta business community.
Mr. Smith brings with him the credentials of having worked with groups including, The Atlanta Empowerment Zone Corporation, Workplace Learning Solutions LLC, Staffing Innovations, Inc., The National Black Women’s Health Project, MHR International, Inc. The Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games (ACOG), The National Conference of Black Mayors, Software Technology Associates, Inc., and several other independent consulting operations.

Natural Solutions International – a Self-Help Heathcare Club
As the Managing Director for Natural Solutions International – a Self-Help Heathcare Club, Mr. Smith developed and launched the introduction of the first Complementary Medicine Employee Benefit Plan in Atlanta, Georgia.
Spearheading the community outreach program, he scheduled weekly information and coaching sessions for the general public interested in Acupuncture, Homeopathy, Oriental Medicine and other modalities in Complementary medicine. Celebrities, athletes, entertainers, politicians, and international “movers and shakers” found value in their club membership, which increased revenues by 200% and initiated referral partnerships with other healthcare providers.
He wrote and placed articles for local magazines and online publishers, and was featured on several radio and television shows. Smith’s efforts ultimately led to being Invited to sit on the board of a national insurance company’s Alternative Medicine Division.

Your Life. Your Legacy. Your Masterpiece!
In 2008, Smith developed "Your Life, Your Legacy, Your Masterpiece" for our country's Seniors. This entertaining, yet educational program is best described by the Office of Senior Affairs for Dekalb County, Georgia's Human Development Department as providing a thought provoking "road map for any Senior that wants to have the final say on how they want to be remembered."

ACA / Obama Care
When ACA / Obama Care was introduced, Smith as one of the experts that the medical community called on to appear on radio shows and to enroll their patients, friends, family and colleagues into the plans in the Marketplace. He also made guest appearances on various television shows, and served on numerous health fair panel discussions.
Realizing the ongoing challenge many of his clients were having managing their prescription medication, Smith began offering informational seminars that introduced the PGx test. Since adverse drug reactions (ADR) are the 4th leading cause of death in the United States, the information about this life saving test empowered his clients to work closer with their doctors, and gave them the opportunity take better care of themselves, their family and their community.

The “Say Goodbye with a Smile” campaign serves as the community outreach program for The EWS Financial Group. It introduces the firm’s Insurance, Wealth Building, and Legacy Planning offerings with an exciting social media presence and a catchy jingle co-written and produced by world renown music director Wizard Jones. Striking a familiar chord in the hearts and minds of clients from all walks of life, this campaign serves as a catalyst for the continuation of the firm’s mission of having traditional values, and innovative solutions.
